Research & Development Lead
Katie started working as a Social Data Analyst for the Healthy Relationships Partnership when the project began in 2015 before becoming our Research and Development Lead.
Katie’s work with the Healthy Relationships Partnership uses research and evaluation to tell the story of systems change in Hartlepool. Her role contributes to the work of the partnership by providing learning and evidence which is continuously used to inform our strategy and is fed back to those working within the system in Hartlepool. Katie has completed studies for the project including family experiences of Early Help services and Community Research of parents views of relationship support. She is currently evaluating the impact training has on Early Intervention practice and the difference this makes to families. Katie has also worked on a number of developmental pieces including the setup of a regular Agency Network Meeting, development of the Relationships Matter 2018 and 2019 campaigns and conferences and ongoing implementation of the HRP communications strategy and online content.
As well as working full time on the project she is also studying an MRes in Social Sciences and Humanities with the University of Portsmouth. The focus of her MRes is on delivering effective early intervention with families. Outside of work and university Katie likes to be creative as a result of watching too much ‘Art Attack’ as a child. She is also notorious for her non-existent parallel parking skills.
